Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three small islands or dyke located in northwest Lombok. Trawangan is also the only dyke which height above sea level is significant. With a length of 3 km and 2 km wide, Trawangan population of about 800 inhabitants. For traveling to and from the third dyke, people usually use motorized boats and speedboats.
